I am currently a researcher in the School of Medicine at University College Dublin, working within the Machine Learning in Medical Imaging and Diagnostics group. My current project focuses on digital twin technology for cardiology, using multi-modal approaches to advance personalized medical diagnostics and treatment strategies. My background also includes commercialization fund work at UCD combining AI and orthopaedic radiology for sports injury, as well as recent research in proteomics and retrieval-augmented generation.
Previously, I worked as a research engineer at Accenture Labs, where I led and contributed to AI projects in machine learning (both traditional and deep learning), natural language processing, knowledge representation in graphs, and computer vision.
