Ifeoluwapo Aribilola

Postdoctoral Researcher

I am a passionate software engineer and researcher. I have worked with different IT companies using different programming languages like Python, Java, .NET, JavaScript etc to develop different applications such as banking applications, automated console apps for engaging platforms, loan recovery and monitoring systems etc.

I joined the Software Research Institute of the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest, Athlone campus, Ireland to pursue a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, under the Presidential Doctoral Scheme (PDS) of the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Athlone, Ireland. The primary goal of the doctoral research titled “Threat Modelling for Privacy-Protected Surveillance Videos using Machine Learning” was to develop advanced technical solutions to prevent numerous attacks on ROI-encrypted surveillance videos, including mitigation of video replay attack, detection and classification of pixel tampering on these ROI-encrypted video frame before decryption. This interdisciplinary work encompasses computer vision, Deep Learning, the Internet of Multimedia Things (IoMT), threat-modelling, cryptanalysis and cryptography.

I have published several articles in ISI-indexed journals and Irish conference proceedings.

My research interests include and are not limited to big data, deep learning, computer vision, data privacy, cybersecurity, forensic investigation and analysis.
