Dr. Thiago de Paula Oliveira is a Researcher Biostatistician at Insight Centre for Data Analytics working in partnership with Orreco and NUI Galway. He develops statistical methods to model the longitudinal concordance correlation based on variance components of mixed effects models. Thiago holds a PhD in Statistics from University of São Paulo, Brazil, and has five years experience in mixed effect models, longitudinal data, and concordance analysis. As PhD candidate, he was a visitor Scholar at National University of Ireland in 2016, working with statistical modeling for agricultural data. His current work is about Biostatistcs in sport.
