Adam Tegart is a Trainee Analyst Programmer working within the Insight SFI Research Centre for Data Analytics in DCU on an Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Fund. His work is primarily in the area of Natural Language Processing and involves the design, implementation and maintenance of a machine learning pipeline for training Large Language Models to be utilised in commercial enterprises to improve business workflows. Adam obtained his BSc. in Data Science from Dublin City University in 2023, completing a final year project titled “Explainable AI in Pathology – Concept Based Explainability for Mitotic Figure Detection in Whole Slide Images”. His research interests are Explainable Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing.
