The Eternal Memory is a short film by Insight’s Diarmuid Kennedy about Dr Cathal Gurrin and his lifelogging work.
The film was selected for a number of international film festivals. It explores the work of Dr Cathal Gurrin. Gurrin is a Lifelogger who has worn a chest camera since 2006 which takes a number of photographs every minute.
The film is not a researcher profile so much as a philosophical exploration of what a curated life means for an individual and indeed, the wider world.
