Dr. Ankit Vijayvargiya earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree with honors in Electrical Engineering from Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management & Gramothan in Jaipur, India, in 2010. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Instrumentation from Devi Ahilya University in Indore, India, which he completed in 2014. Dr. Vijayvargiya furthered his academic journey by obtaining a Ph.D. in Biomedical Signal Processing from Malaviya National Institute of Technology in Jaipur, India. During his doctoral studies, he received training in biomedical signal processing techniques and machine learning under the guidance of Prof. Rajesh Kumar.
As a part of his Neuroinsight Fellowship, he is conducting research on the application of machine learning analysis to enhance clinician decision-making for optimizing gait during robotic exoskeleton therapy using surface electromyography (sEMG). His research interests include biomedical signal processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning.
