Asma Slaimi is a Postdoctoral Researcher and previously a PhD student in the School of Electronic Engineering at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland.
Asma is working with Noel O’Connor, Dr Fiona, Dr Michael, and Dr Susan Hegarty on a collaborative project with Arup to investigate the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the water domain.
To accomplish her master’s project, Asma has worked with Dr Brian Davis in The Insight Centre for Data Analytics, Galway, Ireland. The work involved developing a Supervised Machine Learning model for Ontology-based Named Entity Recognition in an E-Recruitment Platform as part of the Data Live project.
