Dr Brendan O’Flynn received his BEng from UCC and carried out his postgraduate research at the National Microelectronics Research Centre (now the Tyndall National Institute) in Cork. Dr Flynn’s research focuses on the development of next generation embedded smart systems in industry-funded, nationally-funded and European Union projects. He is Head of the Wireless Sensor Network Group in Tyndall.
