Hyowon Lee is an assistant professor at Dublin City University. His research areas are Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and interaction design, particularly focusing on the user experience, user-interface design and usability issues in applications to support novel usage scenarios. Bringing in the knowledge in the HCI in the form of usability principles and design guidelines in coming up with interactive applications with various domain areas and contexts, he has designed over 50 novel applications that envision new usage scenarios and interactivity afforded by experimental multimedia technologies and interaction platforms and techniques, and has disseminated them in over 150 peer-reviewed publications.
