Kieran Mahon joined Insight in 2019 as the ‘Smart DCU’ Projects Facilitator in Insight@DCU.
Kieran is responsible for deployment of Smart City testbeds on the main DCU academic campus and Croke Park Smart Stadium under the umbrella of the overall Smart Dublin initiative.
Previously he worked in Vodafone where he pioneered the use of Artificial Intelligence and the development of predictive analytics. He was very successful in leveraging academic research for new propositions.
Before that he was the Technical Director of the Irish Government’s ‘Program in Advanced Technology’ for Multimedia.
