I am a research student at Insight Centre for Data Analytics at the University of Galway, Ireland. I am supervised by Prof. Paul Buitelaar and Dr. Mihael Arcan. My research focus is conversational AI (dialogue systems). I am interested in investigating automatic methods of creating safe dialogue datasets, suitable for building harmless chatbots. I am also interested in extending safety considerations in dialogue systems to under-resourced African languages. I am part of Masakhane, a community that promotes the representation and coverage of under-resourced languages.
