Today Prof Ed Curry will deliver a keynote address at the Science Council of Japan Academic Forum “Data Society and Open Science in the COVID-19 Era”. His talk is about “Data for AI: From Data Platforms to Common European Data Spaces” and details the action being taken in Europe and in Insight on Data Platforms and Data Spaces.
The Science Council of Japan (SCJ) is a representative organization of Japanese scholars and scientists in all fields of sciences, including humanities, social sciences, life sciences, natural sciences, and engineering. It is the highest academy in Japan.
The forum will discuss issues on data platforms among researchers from various disciplines. Prof Curry has been invited to speak to share international best practices and research challenges between Europe and Japan.
