A short film made by Insight’s Diarmuid Kennedy for the DCU Anam arts and culture programme has been selected for the Montreal Independent Film Festival. The Eternal Memory is a short that explores the work of Dr Cathal Gurrin. Gurrin is a Lifelogger who has worn a chest camera since 2006 which takes a number of photographs every minute.
The film is not a researcher profile so much as a philosophical exploration of what a curated life means for an individual and indeed, the wider world.
